Killed on Iowa Farm

DES MOINES, AP-Norbert J. Kramer, 23, was killed Monday when he fell into a high tension wire while trimming a tree on a farm three and one-half miles east of Altoona.

An employee of the Wright tree trimming service, Kramer was cutting a limb from a tree on the De Grott farm two miles south of highway 6, deputy coroner, Jack R. Lilly, said.

As the limb fell, Kramer’s leg was entangled in it when he was thrown into a 7,500 volt wire.

Kramer’s home is in Carroll. He was unmarried.
