Cheryl S. Michael - age 65, of Pomeroy, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at Accura HealthCare of Pomeroy in Pomeroy, Iowa. Cheryl Sue Michael was born October 10, 1958, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. She was the daughter of Jerry and Karen (Clark) Michael. Cheryl was educated in Pomeroy schools, graduating from Pomeroy High school in 1977. She went on to Grandview College in Des Moines and Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge. Following her education, Cheryl lived in Fort Dodge where she worked as a Pharmacy Tech. at Trinity Hospital. She then worked as an Activity Coordinator at Friendship Haven and then at Ellen's Care Center. In the mid-1990's Cheryl returned to Pomeroy and in 2007, she moved to the Pomeroy Care Center. Cheryl was a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church near Pomeroy. She enjoyed doing all sorts of arts & crafts and needlework, including sewing, crocheting and quilting and she also enjoyed doing calligraphy. Cheryl also was active with a group of family and friends called the "Over The Rainbow Clowns", they did religious presentations to kids groups, churches, Bible Schools and Sunday Schools. Survivors include her mother, Karen Michael of Pomeroy; uncle & aunt, Dick and Crystal Michael of Fort Dodge and several cousins.
