Lake City – Kenny Miller, 64, died Thursday, January 28, 2021 at his home. Services will be held at a later date this summer. Lampe & Powers Funeral Home in Lake City is assisting the family.
Kenneth Wayne Miller was born on February 14, 1956, in Lake City, Iowa, the son of Don and Norma (Carroll) Miller. He attended Lohrville schools and graduated in 1974. In 1976, he married Barbara Knapp, together they had two children, Eric and Nicole. The couple divorced in 1986 and Kenny was re-married to Roberta (Triplett) Hansen in 1989.
Kenny's love of cars kept him working in the auto body industry all his life. He worked at Berger Auto Sales in Lohrville for many years before retiring in April 2018. He enjoyed spending time with family, friends, gardening, golfing, fishing, and his beloved dogs, the late Boozer and Gabby.
Kenny is survived by his son Eric Miller of Manson; daughter Nicole Miller of Westside; step-children Loren (Jaylene) Hansen of St. Joseph, MO, Tammy Morenz of Rockwell City, Tom Hansen of Lake City, and Toni Hansen of Rockwell City; 16 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and sisters Gayla (Larry) Hintz of Lawrenceville, GA, Sharon (Dave) Otis of Ogden, and Melanie (Robert) Wahl of Jefferson.
