John R. Waugh
(December 4, 1864 – August 23, 1936)

Obituary
John R. Waugh was born Dec. 4, 1865, in Clinton County, Ia., and moved to Calhoun County with his parents in 1872, where he grew to manhood. He resided in this county until 1917 when he moved to Blanket, Tex., remaining there until his death Aug. 23. He leaves to mourn two sisters, Mrs. Emily Yople of Nickerson, Kans., and Mrs. Jane Reynolds of Independence, Mo., and two brothers, L. T. Waugh of Niles, Mich., and R. L.
