GREENE BOY GETS CITATION IN BURMA

GREENE- (AP)- Robert James Neal, 22, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Neal of Greene, is one of those described as 'contributing mightly" to the success of American flyers in Burma.

He was graduated from Greene high school in 1936 and reached Burma in August, 1941. His parents said they last heard from him at Kunming, Yunnan province China, in January.

He joined the Navy Nov. 10, 1936, and was given a special discharge in June, 1941 to join the American volunteer group. He is a crew chief.

Neal's outfit reportedly left Rangoon Feb. 28.
