Glenn Charles Pennell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles M. Pennell, died at the home of his parents, Friday, January 4, 1918. He had been ill for four or five days preceding his death which was caused by an abcess in the salivary gland. All efforts to save the little fellow's life proved of no avail and on Friday afternoon he passed away.

Glenn Charles Pennell was born at Sibley, Iowa, on July 13, 1911, and died January 4, 1918, being at the time of his death six years, seven months and four days old.

Funeral services were conducted at the Danish Baptist church on Tuesday by Rev. Burnett of Rolfe, former pastor of the Methodist church in this city. Interment was made in the Elk cemetery.

He leaves to mourn his death, his mother and father, eight sisters and two brothers.
