Mrs. Cordes died Monday of asthma and pneumonia the home of August Nissen at Fergus Falls, Minn. The body was shipped here Thursday morning accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. August Nissen and her daughter, Martha Cordes. Funeral services will be held today, Friday at the German Lutheran church in Coon township.

Mrs. Cordes moved away from this vicinity about nine years ago. The farm Albert Mathies now occupies belongs to her estate.
