Fern E. Salisbury,81, of Oceanside, Calif., formerly of Hazleton and Fayette, died Jan. 19, 1994, at Rancho Encinitas Nursing Home, Encinitas, Calif., after a lengthy illness.

Survivors include two sisters, Dorothy Boyle of Gardnerville, Nev., and Lila Zody of Lenexa, Kan.

Graveside services: 10 a.m. today, Hazleton Cemetery. Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Oelwein, in charge of arrangements.
