Dale J. Fischels, 42, died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2000, in his home from complications of A.L.S.

Survivors include his wife, Joanne; a son, Matthew, and a daughter, Molly, both at home; two brothers, Norman of Independence and Raymond of Kitzengen, Germany; and six sisters, Barb Lindsay of Masonville, Donna Clayton of Sioux City, Theresa Corkery of Independence, Susie Alber of Hazleton, Marian Beckett of McDermott, Ohio, and Helen Temeyer of Manchester.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday, St. John's Catholic Church, Independence, by the Rev. Aloysius Vorwald. Burial: church cemetery. Friends may call after 1 p.m. today at Reiff Funeral Home, Independence, where a rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. and a vigil service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
