Vickie Marie Castle, 51, of Hazleton, died Thursday, June 2, at the Mercy Hospital of Franciscan Sisters, Oelwein, following a long illness.

She was born July 11, 1953, in Cedar Falls, daughter of Victor and Barbara Ann Sherban Mark.

Mrs. Castle graduated from Cedar Falls Community Schools and attended Hawkeye Institute of Technology, Waterloo.

Survivors include: two sons, Brad Bartlett of Fort Madison and Casey Castle of Hazleton; a daughter, Lisa Marie Castle of Hazleton; her parents of Cedar Falls; a brother, Ken Mark of Hanlontown; and a sister, Judy Mark.

Memorial services: 2 p.m. Sunday at Evangelical Free Church, Oelwein. There will be no visitation; her body was cremated. Reiff Funeral Home & Crematory, Independence, is in charge of arrangements.
