FIRE AT WAVERLY
~
Waverly, Feb. 5 - Fire in this city yesterday destroyed eight small building, causing a total loss of $5,000. The loss, though not heavy in the aggregate amounts is a great inconvenience to the losers, because of the fact that they were deprived of store room, etc. The loss is entirely on buildings as the stock of goods was saved. The principle losers were William Cepp, general store; J. D. Garner, meat market; John Heinrich, meat market. The other losers were not heavy. The insurance amounts to about $3,500.
