Thus far, I've had no luck finding his obituary but I did locate his wife's. In her obit, it stated that he died on 5 March 1886 and it referred to him by his middle name, Henry. I also found a newspaper story about her celebrating her 90th birthday, a few months before she died. I saved those articles as PDF files and if you are able to view them, I can send them via email as attachments. They would be the complete page in which the articles can be found. Just let me know if you want me to email them to you. I have another place to check to try to find an obit for him but obits were rare in those days.
