I found this refernce to Poseyville, IA.
But it is located in Hardin County, IA.Mt Pleasant Cemetery - near Poseyville
Point Pleasant Cemetery, Pleasant Township, Section 18
aka Prairie Lee Cemetery
Located off State Hwy 175, 1 1/2 miles east of the junction of U S Hwy 65. At N Ave.turn south for 1 1/4 miles at 24786. The Point Pleasant Church is on the west side of the road but has been converted into a home. The cemetery is on the east side of the road. This Cemetery was at first called the Prairie Lee Cemetery. west of Eldora, near the abandoned town of Point Pleasant. The earliest burial dates to 1855.This is really helpful. But the records for the
town are with the Hardin County Recorder's Office.
See the Hardin Co. site: www.rootsweb.com/~iahardin/html/index.htm. This cemetery has been transcribed if you are looking for someone.I'll keep my eyes open.
