Hi Debbie,

Whaddaya know! Almost a decade after that posting, I'd as much as forgotten that I put it out there. Now I just have to find where I stashed the photo -- the past ten years have brought a lot of changes, including marriage and relocation. I think I know at least which pile of boxes in the garage to begin looking in for the picture ;-)

Thanks for your address: as soon as I find the pic, I'll send you the original. I have no connection to the family, but it was such a good image, I picked it up while traveling back East just because I could not bear the though of such a treasure moldering away in a second-hand shop to be picked up by a stranger and disposed of in some anonymous craft project or such.

It would be interesting to find out if a nephew or niece of that family lived in the Washington D.C. or Northern VA area to track how this may have ended up there. By the way, that trip was a family research trip for me, combined with going along to a friend's family reunion. That friend has now been my lovely wife for nearly five years.
