She is said in family records to have died in Waterloo IA July 22, 1866 she was born in 1841 in Maine, her parents were Consider Knowles who died in Maine in 1870 and her mother was Mary Spurr Knowles who died in 1873 in Vermillion SD, I do not know what she was doing in Waterloo, she had a brother Freeman Knowles who was in Denison IA at the time, no indication she was married comes in my records. A sister Mary is said to have died in Leavenworth KS in 1859 also don't know what she was doing out there! A brother Talbot Knowles died in Decatur County in 1893, I found his obit on line.
