Lyman M. Eby (1853-1930) born in IL or PA. Lyman Eby married 18 Dec 1883 in Jefferson Co., IL to Mary Hart (1858-1920/1930), born in Mt. Pleasant, Racine Co., WI.

Their son was Charles W. Eby, born 1889 in KS, married Blanche E. and had 2 children:
Jane Eby, born ca 1917
Donald Lyman, born ca 1920

I believe that Donald Lyman Eby and Jane Eby are my 2nd cousins once removed.

Mary Hart Eby had a brother, John Henry Hart in Sangamon Co., IL. Their father was Daniel Hart, (1824-1865) born in Caledonia Co., VT; settled in Mt. Pleasant, WI by 1857; served in the Civil War in the 129th IL Infantry; taken prisoner of War; died of camp fever in March 1865 in Wilmington, NC and buried in the National Military Cemetery there. Their mother was Ellen Jane Sullivan (1840-1871), born in Ireland; married in Racine Co., WI by the Rev. John Gridley; relocated to Sangamon Co., IL after the death of Daniel Hart; married there to 2nd to Henry Hart from Caledonia Co., VT. Ellen is buried in the Mechanicsburg Cemetery, Sangamon Co., IL.
