Gene Louis Kennis was my great grandfather if the man your looking for was born on 5-12-1871 in Brussels, Belgium. He was married to Mary Anna Bogle..born around 1892-1893. Her father was John D. Bogle. From what I have found in my research Louis died on or around 1920, I don't know what from but he was a coalminer. He had 5 children with Mary. After his death the children, Anna born 1911, Joseph born 1912, Margerite(my grandmother) born 1914, George born 1915 and John born 1919, where made wards of the court and sent to the American Home Finding Orphanage. Mary went on to marry William Laurie 2 years later and never retuned for her children. If you know anything about the child I would love the information. I hope this is helpful to you. Julie
