I came across this site which has old records for the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

I don't see any individual records but searching for "Appanoose" I stumbled on this entry from 1895. What's interesting is that Walnut City is only a couple of miles north of Mystic. Also of interest to me personally is that Scott School is the one room country school I attended in the 1950's.
SCOTT SCHOOL HOUSE AND OSCOELA — I commenced meetings at the Scott school-house, Appanoose Co., Feb. 1. and continued over four weeks. The attendance was good nearly all the time, and the people were largely convinced by the truths taught. There was but little open opposition, though the Free Methodists were much stirred up to make very high claims of holiness without the necessity of keeping the Sabbath.
Four adults signed the covenant. I expect to visit them again soon, when I hope that several others will embrace the truth and join the Walnut City church. My wife was with me, and assisted in visiting.
