The 1925 Census has them listed as Killer, and Stonewall as Stonewall Kelly, but the last name for all of them should be Keller. And if you look closely, you can tell. Stonewall joined the army in 1927. The orphanage info just comes from what he told his daughter, my mother-in-law. He said his parents died in 1920 and he was sent to an orphanage, then a couple of foster homes. It did take me some serious research to find the foster home. It was confirmed when I found the person he had listed as his guardian on his army enlistment papers on Pleasant Keller's family tree on Ancestry. I emailed the owner of the family tree and she confirmed that the Kellers took in foster children. That is sure a good feeling to know you've gone in the right direction! Thanks for looking into this. I appreciate it.
