Jim,

Yes, I have seen this record for Charles MORRISON and I *want* him to be the correct father, but have so far been unable to confirm or eliminate this family.

I do hope the state vital records are available for William's birth and list Charles as the father. However, since the birth record wasn't in Appanoose county, I am not hopeful the state will have 1892 birth records either. It could be weeks until I hear from the state.

The birth certificate would be the link I need between William and Charles and the family you cite.
