1940 Death for Munson

I am attempting to find out what happened to a MILO ALEXANDER
MUNSON. He was born ca 1857 in Illinois and married in
Sullivan Co, Mo...but evidently divorced/left that marriage.
It has been reported that he died 2 Sep 1940 in Centerville,
Appanoose Co, Ia. Could someone check to see if this
death did occur? I would really appreciate any help that
can be given.
