We are also looking for her gravesite as she is our great, great grandmother. My father, Edmund Anderson, mentioned Hammerberg relatives in LaCrosse, Wisc., but cannot find a gravesite there either. He grew up in the old stone house that Helena(Lena) and Jonas shared with their daughter, Bertha(Betsy) Christine and her husband John E. Johnson. We have her living from 4/8/1811 - 4/7/1879 so had passed before the 1980 census that shows Jonas as "father-in-law" living with Johnson's. Any other info you have would be appreciated. How are you related?
