My info. is very sketchy. In my notes I have this:
Sarah ?McCain/McCaine/McCanne

The low entry number for Sarah (in my software) shows that I put her into my data-base a long time ago ... and I didn't record the source of the information. I do not have a Spengler at all.

I do have another Hardin: Mariah J. Hardin (1833-1923), granddaughter of John Hardin/Harden. Mother unknown. John Harden's daughter possibly had her out of wedlock & the grandfather raised her. Mariah married David A. Harris, who was a close relation to the Harris' who removed to Allamakee co. from Morgan co. OH in 1854. David's 1st cousin (once removed) was Nancy E. Harris, who married Moses Bollman - the son of William & Elizabeth (Hardin) Bollman.

I don't know if there is any relationship between Mariah J. Hardin & James Hardin; but I thought I'd throw the info. out in case it will help you in any way.
