Thank you very much for your prompt reply, yes that is "my " Oliver Mackey. My neice has checked at the courthouse for a death certificate, none was found. After selling his farm he seems to have dissappeared !
My main reason is I'm hoping to find his parents name, for in the 1880 History of Allamakee, he states his parents are living in Philidelphia. Also on his brother James living in Mound Prairie Minn. for parents name, all that is listed is Mr. Mackey
