Correction to my first message: Jens (Jans) and Maria (Mary) Hanson emigrated from Norway in April, 1853. They were married in March 1853 and emigrated only a few weeks later. After their marriage they lived at a farm in Veldre, Hedmark, Norway named Faråsen store, where Jens's family lived. I have some information that indicates they may have moved on to South Dakota in the 1880s.
