DIED - In this place, on Thursday morning of Typhoid Pneumonia, Nannie, oldest child of Henry and Augusta Nielander, aged 11 years, 10 months and 7 days.
After an illness of scarcely a week the darling pride of one of the most happy households in our midst is taken away. One of the brightest, as she was one of the most amiable children, she was the very idol of her parents and immediate relatives. With but slight physical suffering the dear one passed away --
Death came with friendly care,
The opening bud to Heaven conveyed,
And bade it blossom there. The funeral ceremonies will take place from the family residence this (Friday) afternoon, at two o'clock.

DIED - In this city on Thursday morning, the 11th inst., of Typhoid Pneumonia, Nannie, oldest child of Henry and Augusta Nielander, aged 11 years, 10 mos and 7 days.
Darling Nannie will be bitterly mourned for a long, long time, not only by her sorrow-stricken parents and the family circle, but by her schoolmates and all who knew the bright little lady, as she was so often called.
No death has occurred in Lansing for a long time that has so universally touched the tender chords of the hearts of our citizens and caused the tears of pure sympathy to flow from many eyes unused to weeping at the affliction of others.
The funeral took place on Friday with religious services at the home of her parents, conducted by Rev. Mr. Esher, in German, and Revs. Rogers and Frothingham in English. The house and grounds were thronged with sorrowing citizens which showed plainly how greatly sweet Nannie was beloved.
