DIED - On Monday, March 4th, Charles M., son of C. Mortimer Phipps, of Lafayette Twp., aged 3 years, 2 months and 16 days.

Note: The 1913 biography of M.T. Phipps states his son Charles died at age 2y. His wife was Elizabeth Valentine. Little Charles is buried in Village Creek cemetery.
