The wife of Richard Ryan, Jr., of Union Prairie, died last Friday morning; a large number of friends and relatives followed the remains on Sunday to their last resting place in the West Ridge cemetery. The procession was very large; there being one hundred and twenty teams besides about twenty on horseback.

She was very much loved and respected.
