Miss Lena Wallbridge and Henry Baner [Bauer] were married last Wedntsday [Wednesday] evening at 8:30 o’clock at the Congregational parsonage, Rev. C. S. Marshall officiating. The only guests were Mrs. Baner [Bauer], mother of the groom and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Johnson. The bride is the adopted daughter of Mr. and Mrs Thos. Wallbridge of Brooks and is well known in this vicinity, having made Corning her home for some time. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Baner [Bauer] and is member of the blacksmith firm of Frederick Baner [Bauer] and Son. The newly married couple departed Thursday for Des Moines and Linden, Iowa, where they will visit a short time with relatives of the groom and on their return home will begin housekeeping in rooms in the Mrs. J. S. Lynch home on Grove Avenue. Their friends extend congratulations.
