This cemetery was formed by a company called Maywood Cemetery Association on July 1908. Sec 29, East Waterloo Twp 1/2 miles East of Bishop Avenue.
It has been called several different names since its creation including: Memorial Park Cemetery, Boggsville Cemetery, and now Hillcrest Cemetery.

Plat shows that Ellen Louise Rousch was buried on Lot 7, Block C, Hillside Cemetery, 10-21-1931 On July 11, 1932. Lot 7 was found to be empty and Ellen Miller was burial Lot 10, Block C found occupied with old burial when opened 06-11-1932.
