Young People United For Life Wednesday
George Lass and Leah Johnson United By Rev. L. F. Smith Wednesday Noon
At 12 o’clock, noon, last Wednesday, George Lass and Leah Johnson were united in marriage at the home of the bride’s sister Mrs. W. C. Eggert by Rev. L. F. Smith. Unattended, they took their places under a large arch and took the vows that made them man and wife. Only close relatives of the contracting parties were present.
Immediately after the ceremony a bounteous dinner was served to the guests.
The bride was beautifully attired in a charming dress and the groom wore a dark blue serge. They left that day for a honeymoon in Chicago and Evanston, Ills. They expect to return in about a week and go to housekeeping on the Dietrich farm north of town.
The congratulations and best wishes of a host of friends go with them on their new journey in life.
