YOUNG COUPLE ARE MARRIED

Miss Bernice Brimm Of Blairstown Becomes Bride of Mr. Wayne Hemphill of Iowa City.

The wedding of Miss Bernice M. Brimm and Mr. Wayne Hemphill, occurred on Thursday, September 15th, 1921, at high noon in Cedar Rapids. Dr. H. M. Gage, president of Coe college an old friend of the family, officiated.

The marriage took place in tho home of President and Mrs. Gage. The beautiful ring ceremony was read in the presence of the immediate families. After the ceremony the bridal party repaired to the Montrose Hotel where a luncheon was served.

The bride was lovely in a cloth suit of mole, trimmed in mole skin fur with hat to match.

She is a daughter of Dr. and Mrs. F. F. Winsell, and came here with her parents over a year ago from Minnesota and has spent most of that time attending the State University at Iowa City. She is affiliated with the Alpha Chi Omega sorority. Prior to her entrance at the University, she studied dramatics at the Minneapolis school of Music.

She spent her youth at Dexter, Iowa, and is a graduate of the Dexter high school.

Those whose pleasure it was to have known her during her short residence among us, were impressed with her charm of manner and sweet disposition.

The groom is a son of Mrs. Jeannette Hemphill, lately a resident of Anita, but now of Iowa City and is a graduate of the Anita high school. Although a stranger here he is well thought of by those who have met him. He is a member of the Junior class of the dental school at the State University and of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity.

It was doing their college life at Iowa City that their friendship developed into the college romance which was happily culminated on Thursday.

After a short wedding trip they will take up their college work and will be at home to their friends at 219 East Church Street Iowa City, Iowa.
