The marriage of Selma Holst and Herman Albers occurred at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Holst at their residence three miles southwest of town, on Friday evening, Jan. 14, at six o’clock, the Rev. Francke of the Evangelical Luthern Church performing the ceremony, in the presence of a large number of friends and relatives. After the ceremony all partook of a good, old fashioned wedding supper, such as the housewives of this vicinity know, how to prepare. These young people are well known and popular among their many friends. The groom is the son of the late Jacob Albers and will continue to farm his mother’s farm a mile west of the Holst farm. Here’s hoping they may have a long, happy life.
