Mrs.Margaret Thompson Gingry
At the hour of 2 o'clock Tuesday morning death claimed Mrs. Margaret Gingry who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wm. Langham, who resided four miles northwest of Cedar Rapids. the deceased had been afflicted for a long time with an affection of the liver bud had been dangerously ill for but ten days. She was a native of the state of Pennsylvania and was seventy five years of age, coming to Iowa in 1856, and settling in this county, She is survived by three children. Mrs. Langham, of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. D. C. Morris, of Eden township, and Joseph Thompson, a son by the first husband of the deceased, who is in Central America. She also leaves to morn two brothers and a sister who live in Pennsylvania. Mrs. Gingry was a life long and consistent member of the Methodist church and active in its work. The funeral will be held at 11 o'clock this morning from the M. E. Church in Shellsburg.
