A PIONEER GONE
Death of Mrs. Mary J. Fink, For-
merly of Lisbon, This Morning.
Mary J. Fink

At 10:20 this morning occurred the death of Mrs. Mary J. Fink, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. W. H. Spadt, 1118 Second avenue west, at the age of 73 years. The funeral arrangements have not been completed, but it is announced that the interment will be in the Shellsburg cemetery on Friday afternoon.

Mary J. Addy was born in Muskingum county, Ohio, where she was united in marriage with Thomas Morrison. To this union, were born nine children, four of whom, Officer L. S. Morrison. Mrs. Mary E. Roll of Ames, Iowa, Mrs. Hattie Barnt of Alton, Kan., and Mrs. Spadt, survive. Mr. and Mrs. Morrison removed to Iowa in 1860, locating in Tama county, where the husband and father died. In 1868 Mrs. Morrison married Mr. Fink, who died twelve years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Fink located in Linn county in 1868, residing for many years in Lisbon and vicinity. Five years ago Mrs. Fink came to Cedar Rapids to make her home with her daughter. She is also survived by one brother, C. W. Addy of this city, and three sisters, Mrs. Parks of Shellsburg, Mrs. Wright of Hazelton and Mrs. Davis of Nebraska.
