CIVIC SOCIETIES.

The public spirit and enterprise of the men comprising Audubon's business circle, and including a large number of farmers, is denoted by the organizations effected in the way of civic societies. They have a combined membership of about 1,100, with an aggregate investment of almost $10,000.
