UDSON - WALTER The parsonage of Rev. E. A. Seldon in Waukon was the scene of a pretty wedding at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 5, 1926, when Miss Leah Walter of this city and Henry Udson of Clermont were quietly married, the bride's mother, Mrs. Lilly Walter, witnessing the ceremony. The bride wore an ashes of roses dress of piorette sheen material, with hat to match. The groom wore a suit of gray. Following the ceremony they left on a wedding tour that will take them to Cheyenne, Wyoming, Roundup, Montana, and the Yellowstone Park. They will be "at home" to their many friends in Clermont, Iowa, after September 5th. UGLUM - unknown Archie Uglum and bride returned the last of the week from their honeymoon trip to Minnesota and South Dakota. UNDERWOOD - LENZ Lansing, Ia.- Special: The marriage of Miss Alice Lenz and William Underwood took place Sunday noon at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Lenz, with the Rev. Henry Marks officiating, assisted by Lloyd Bartholomew, it was learned here on Tuesday. The single ring ceremony was used. The couple was unattended. Following the ceremony a wedding dinner was served to immediate families in attendance. Mr. and Mrs. Underwood departed during the afternoon on a wedding trip, after which they will make their home in Marshalltown. Mrs. Underwood is a graduate of the Lansing schools and Iowa State Teachers College.
