Said Joseph J. Kluss was born in Postville in the State
of Iowa. When enlisted he was 30 7/12 years of age, and
by occupation a Brakeman. He had Brown eyes, Red hair,
Ruddy complexion and was 5 feet 11 inches in height.

October, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen.
